Much of what we cover in our chemistry courses, particularly Chemistry 23 and Chemistry 30B, is necessary to understand how biologically important molecules are structured and how they function. I have collected information in table format for several classes of these compounds with the help of Dr. Ron Rinehart, formerly on the staff of Monterey Peninsula College.
